Impossible Taco Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can chopped green chilies drained
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 400°. Grease 10” quiche dish or pie plate.
  • Cook and stir beef and onion over medium heat until beef is brown; drain.
  • Stir in seasoning mix, spread in plate, sprinkle with chilies.
  • Beat milk, baking mix and eggs until smooth 15 seconds in blender. Pour into plate.
  • Bake 25 minutes.
  • Top with tomatoes and cheese.
  • Bake until knife inserted between edge comes out clean (maybe 8 – 10 minutes longer).
  • Serve with sour cream, chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce if desired.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz pkg frozen crabmeat or shrimp thawed and drained
  • 1 can tuna drained (optional)
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 3 oz pkg Cream Cheese cut into ¼ in. cubes
  • 1/3 cup green onions sliced
  • 92 oz jar chopped pimiento drained
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 dash Nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 400°. Grease pie plate, 10”x 1 ½”.
  • Mix crabmeat (or tuna), cheeses, onions and pimiento. Place in plate.
  • Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high. Pour into plate.
  • Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 35-40 minutes.
  • Cool 5 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 (4 oz) cans chopped green chilies drained
  • 4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 4 eggs.

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 425°, grease pie plate 10”x 1 ½ ”.
  • Sprinkle chilies and cheese in plate.
  • Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high. Pour into plate.
  • Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean. 25-30 minutes.
  • Cool 10 minutes.
  • Serve with sour cream and guacamole.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef cooked/drained
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease a 10 inch pie pan.
  • Layer cottage cheese and parmesan cheese in pan.
  • Mix cooked beef, oregano, basil, tomato paste and ½ c. mozzarella cheese and spoon evenly over top.
  • In blender, beat milk, Bisquick, eggs, salt and pepper until smooth. Pour into pie plate.
  • Bake until golden brown, or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. 30-35 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz fresh green beans cut lengthwise into strips
  • 4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces drained
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 400°. Grease pie plate, 10”x 1 ½ “.
  • Heat beans in 1 inch salted water to boiling.
  • Cook uncovered 5 minutes.
  • Cover and cook until tender, 5 – 10 minutes, drain.
  • Mix beans, mushrooms, onion, garlic and cheese in plate.
  • Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high.
  • Pour into plate.
  • Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 30 – 35 minutes.
  • Cool 5 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli or chopped spinach
  • 8 oz pkg frozen asparagus spears cooked and drained
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 tomatoe peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°. Grease pie plate, 10”x 1 ½”.
  • Spread broccoli (or other vegetables) in plate.
  • Beat sour cream, cottage cheese, baking mix, butter and eggs until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high.
  • Pour into plate. Top with tomatoes, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

German Sausage Dinner

German Sausage Dinner

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs German Sausage uncooked, cut in pieces
  • 3 lbs small red potatoes cut in wedges
  • 1 lb Baby Carrots
  • 1 large red onion sliced and separated into rings
  • 2 4.5 oz jars whole mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup Butter cubed
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut German sausage into chunks. Place sausage, potatoes, carrots, onion, and mushrooms in a heavy duty foil bag. (17 x 15 in.)
  • Dot with butter. Sprinkle with soup mix, soy suace and pepper.
  • Seal tightly; turn to coat.
  • Grill covered over medium heat for 45-55 minutes or until vegetables are tender and sausage is no longer pink, turning once.

Notes

The original recipe called for Bratwurst. It tastes good too.

Five Cheese Macaroni

Five Cheese Macaroni

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 16 oz package elbow macaroni
  • 9 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 cup Muenster cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups Half-And-Half
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese cubbed
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the oil and the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain well and return to cooking pot.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In microwave, melt 8 tablespoons butter; stir into the macaroni.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Muenster cheese, mild and sharp Cheddar cheeses, and Monterey Jack cheese; mix well.
  • Add the half and half, 1 1/2 cups of cheese mixture, cubed velveeta, and eggs to macaroni; mix together and season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer to a lightly greased deep 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese mixture and 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbling around the edges; serve.
