Ham Hocks In Sauerkraut Polish Style

Ingredients

ham hocks

sauerkraut

onion
sliced into thin rings

tablespoon
sugar
1/4
teaspoon
black pepper
Instructions
Cover ham hocks with water.
Simmer 1 hour; drain.
Add sauerkraut, onion, sugar, and pepper; return to heat.
Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until meat falls off bone.
