Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Combine all ingredients, except applesauce and nuts, in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 1 cup mixture. Press remaining mixture onto bottom of greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake 13-15 minutes. Cool.
  5. Spread applesauce over partially baked base and sprinkle with nuts. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup oatmeal mixture over filling.
  6. Bake 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into 2 inch squares. This recipe serves 20.

Instructions
  1. Bring sugar, milk, and butter to boil over low heat. Cook to med. Soft ball stage. Stir frequently.
  2. Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients. Stir until melted.
  3. Pour into buttered 9”x13” pan.
  4. May substitute bitter chocolate for cherries and add vanilla. (put chocolate in before cooking sugar, milk and butter mixture.)

  1. Melt chips, add Eaglebrand, stirring occasionally until mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Add chopped nuts and vanilla.
  3. Line bottom of 9” pie pan with foil.
  4. Place ¾ c. walnut halves in bottom forming a ring.
  5. Spoon chocolate mixture over nuts.
  6. Add maraschino cherries and remaining nuts for decoration.
  7. Chill in refrigerator until firm enough to slice. Cut into ½ inch slices.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Chop nuts, set aside.
  2. Melt butter in 12” oven-proof skillet. Remove from heat, stir in brown sugar and stir until well blended.
  3. Drain pineapple reserving juice, set aside.
  4. Arrange pineapple slices over sugar mixture. Place a cherry half in center of each slice. Sprinkle with nuts.
  5. Add enough water to pineapple juice to make 1 1/3 cups liquid.
  6. In bowl combine cake mix, liquid, eggs and oil; whisk until well blended and smooth.
  7. Pour over pineapple in skillet. Bake 35-40 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven Cool 5 minutes, loosen edges of cake and invert onto large serving plate. Cool slightly. Top with cool whip and serve.

  1. Mix all except nuts in a 6-8 qt. container and set aside.
Boil
  1. Mix in 4-6 qt. saucepan. Bring to boil and cook for 6 minutes then pour over remaining ingredients and whip until smooth and creamy.
  2. After mixture is completely blended add nuts. Let stand 4-6 hours or until completely chilled. Makes 6 lb.

Ingredients
  • 1 batch Caramels firm ball (http://thecures.com/recipe/aunt-mabels-caramels/)
  • 1 cup Fondant http://thecures.com/recipe/basic-fondant/
  • 1/4 cup Marshmallow Creme
  • 4-6 cup Nuts Chopped
  • 1 batch Caramels soft ball (http://thecures.com/recipe/aunt-mabels-caramels/)
Instructions
  1. Make firm ball caramel, add fondant and marshmallow cream, mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan - set in refrigerator til firm.
  2. Cut in 3/4" strips. Spread nuts on cookie sheet.
  3. Dip center strips in softball caramel and roll in nuts. Lay closely together so they will hold their shape.
  4. Wrap in plastic and store. May also be dipped in chocolate after dipping in nuts.
