Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Measure out 2 cups pumpkin for pie, put into bowl.
  2. Add in bowl sugar, salt, spices, eggs. Mix then carefully add milk and stir.
  3. Pour into pie shell, foil edges, and place on foiled, cookie sheet and bake 350°F for 50-60 minutes. Give knife clean test. If not clean, bake longer.
  4. Leftover pumpkin pie mix I place into a greased 1 qt. ovenproof dish and bake in a water bath like, custard.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Combine all ingredients, except applesauce and nuts, in a bowl. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Reserve 1 cup mixture. Press remaining mixture onto bottom of greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake 13-15 minutes. Cool.
  5. Spread applesauce over partially baked base and sprinkle with nuts. Sprinkle reserved 1 cup oatmeal mixture over filling.
  6. Bake 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into 2 inch squares. This recipe serves 20.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and mix well with an electric mixer.
  3. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 by 9-inch baking pan.
  4. To make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter, and beat together.
  6. Next, add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well.
  7. Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure not to over bake as the center should be a little gooey.
  8. Serve with fresh whipped cream.
Variations
  1. For a Pineapple Gooey Cake: Instead of the pumpkin, add a drained 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple to the cream cheese filling. Proceed as directed above.
  2. For a Banana Gooey Cake: Prepare cream cheese filling as directed, beating in 2 ripe bananas instead of the pumpkin. Proceed as directed above.
  3. For a Peanut Butter Gooey Cake: Use a chocolate cake mix. Add 1 cup creamy peanut butter to the cream cheese filling instead of the pumpkin. Proceed as directed above.

  1. Line baking pans with aluminum foil.
  2. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and flavoring until creamy and smooth, stir in dry ingredients, and add fruit and nuts. Mix well.
  3. Fill pans 2/3 full. Bake in slow oven (275°). Bake tube cake about 3 hours, smaller loaf pans 2 hours, or until golden brown
  4. Wrap cakes in wine soaked cloth and store in air tight container in cool place for several weeks.

Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 400°. Grease pie plate, 10”x 1 ½”.
  2. Mix crabmeat (or tuna), cheeses, onions and pimiento. Place in plate.
  3. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high. Pour into plate.
  4. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 35-40 minutes.
  5. Cool 5 minutes.

  1. Cook lima beans according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and egg. Form meat mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls.
  3. Brown meat balls in a skillet in vegetable oil.
  4. Add tomato paste to the lima beans, then stir in paprika and sour cream.
  5. Add browned meat balls and stir gently.
  6. Pour mixture into a greased casserole and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
